As political parties in Edo State are preparing for the 2024 governorship election in the state, interests have began to take centre stage across board. While people are rooting for their party members, Prince Clem Agba is the only leader in Edo State that even people from other political parties are looking up to. It’s a valid fact that irrespective of political party, the pointer against who should take over the state in the next election is pointing in the direction of Prince Clem Agba in all ramifications. This affirms the saying that a golden fish has no hiding place. The aura of Prince Clem Agba exceptional leadership is spreading fast across the three senatorial districts of the state and the reason why his coming to power is sacrosanct.
The veracity of the above claim can be established in the address of Chief Ohis Osaro in a public gathering on Sunday where he noted that not only is Prince Clem Agba the best and only candidate APC has at the moment to win the next governorship election in the state, but also the wish of the majority of Edo State people irrespective of party divides. He noted that only those not resident or indigene of the state would state or believe otherwise. While addressing the good people of Edo Central in the gathering, Chief Ohis Osaro added that other states of the federation can’t be progressing and Edo would be left behind.
In his words, “only those not related to Edo State in anyway would think of any other person coming to power in the next election than Prince Clem Agba. A critical assessment of all that have shown interest in the position across parties clearly indicated that no one has the kind of capacity, experience and political will to governance Edo State like that of Prince Clem Agba. His antecedents in public offices and private sectors shown an administrator per excellent.”
“We know ourselves in Edo State and we know our capacities. In Prince Clem Agba is a modest man who only sees power as an opportunity to better the lives of others. His track records in serving the state and at the federal level shows that he’s a prudent administrator in which no form of misappropriation or corruption allegation has been traced to him. This is the man we need, this is the man Edo State needs”
He used the medium to charge his fellow party men and women to jettison any form of monetary inducement in the party primary election. He added that the weapon to defeat PDP in the state is the flagging of Prince Clem Agba as it candidate and anything contrary will deminish the hope of the party reclaiming the same in the coming election.
