This is to notify the Boki youth and the general public of the second edition of the NYCN Boki Unity Cup football tournament, to be held from Sunday, 21st July 2024 to Saturday, 17th August 2024.
The first edition of this tournament, held in August 2023, was a resounding success, providing a platform to showcase the football talents of Boki youth and foster unity within the community. The organizers were able to identify players who later represented Boki LGA in the Governor’s Cup competition 2023, it is worthy of note that the Boki team did excellently well in last year Governor’s Cup as the Boki team played to the semifinals of Governor’s Cup 2023. We hope this year’s edition will also afford us the opportunity to identify new and great talents that will fly the Boki flag for this year Governor’s Cup.
Building on the momentum of the previous edition, the second edition of NYCN Boki Unity Cup promises to be even more exciting and competitive. The tournament will feature teams representing various communities within Boki, providing an opportunity for the youth to come together, showcase their skills, and strengthen the bonds of unity.
The Central Planning Committee (CPC) will be set up by next week to oversee the organization and management of the tournament, ensuring a well-coordinated and enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators.
We look forward to your active participation and support in making the second edition of the Boki Unity Cup a resounding success, as we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Boki and maintain the peaceful and friendly environment that our community is known for.
