NYCN Chairman Boki Chapter Sets Date For Ward Elections, Constitute Electoral Committee

The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Boki Chapter, Comr Ekiewa Douglas Jnr, Sets Dates for Ward Elections, appoints Electoral Committee

The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Boki Chapter, Comr Ekiewa Douglas Jnr, has announced that the electoral committee has been given the mandate to conduct Ward Elections of NYCN in Boki. The committee has been granted the period from Monday, January 8th, 2024, to Saturday, March 20th, 2024, to carry out this important electoral process.

Comr Ekiewa Douglas Jnr emphasized the significance of transparency, credibility, and fairness in the electoral process. He urged the electoral committee (ELECO), to ensure that the elections are conducted in a manner that upholds these principles. The entire Boki Nation is keenly observing the transition process of the NYCN Ward Exco in Boki, and the integrity of the ELECO body is under scrutiny.

Expressing his confidence in the committee, the Chairman wished the ELECO the best in discharging their duty. Comr Ekiewa Douglas Jnr understands the importance of a well-organized and unbiased electoral process in fostering the development and representation of the youth in Boki.

The formation of the Electrical Committee (ELECO) for the NYCN Ward Elections includes the following individuals:

  2. Kingsley Enoch: Secretary
  3. Maurice Tiku: Member
  4. Valentine Otu: Member
  5. Takon Etta Bessong: Member
  6. Anyia Valentine: Member
  7. Jerry Nandi: Member

Each member of the ELECO brings unique experience and expertise to ensure the smooth and transparent execution of the Ward Elections.

The NYCN Boki Chapter encourages all eligible youth in Boki to actively participate in the upcoming Ward Elections. This is an opportunity for the youth to exercise their democratic rights and contribute to the progress and growth of their community and a test of popularity for the aspirants that will contest this year election in their various wards.
