Ikom, Cross River State – The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State Central Senatorial District, is set to host a significant security town hall meeting that aims to address urgent concerns and promote collaboration between the youth and security agencies. The meeting will witness the presence of key stakeholders and dignitaries, including the Governor of Cross River State, Sen Prince Bassey Otu, and his deputy, Rt Hon Peter Odey. Additionally, Sen Eteng Williams Jones, the Senator representing the central senatorial district, along with Hon Victor Abang (Mature), the Member representing Bok/Ikom Federal Constituency, and other members such as Hon Alex Ogbonna, who represents Obubra Etung Federal Constituency, will also be in attendance.
The primary objective of the security town hall meeting is to delve into the causes, effects, and potential solutions to the security challenges faced by the district.
